SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (March 3, 2013) --
Top seed Andrew Biggadike continued his
march at the 2013 San Francisco City
Championship.
At TPC Harding Park, Biggadike was a 4-
and-2 winner of M.J. Morin, the No. 16
seed. Biggadike moves on to next
weekend's quarterfinals where he'll take
on No. 9 Nick Ushijima, who knocked off
Austin Roberts in 20 holes Sunday in the
Round of 16.
No. 2 seed Timothy Nelson fell to No. 18
Jimmy Castles, 2-and-1. Castles hopes to
contnue his run next weekend against
seventh-seeded William Brueckner, who
prevailed over No. 10 Luke Vivolo in 19
holes.

Series co-Player of the Year Alex Franklin
defeated No. 19 Josh Levin in 19 holes
Sunday. The No. 3 seed, who dispatched
of Randy Haag on Saturday, waits to take
on Justin Suh, the No. 6 seed, next
weekend. Suh beat Justin Paglia 6-and-5
Sunday in the Round of 16.
"I actually did not know Randy before
yesterday," Franklin said. "But I knew
what
kind of player he was. I felt confident in
my
game going into it and played well on
Saturday.
"Today neither Josh or I played great but
it
was a very close battle that went back
and
forth all day. I was lucky to eventually
come
out on top."
Setting up a quarterfinal match of two
'underdogs', No. 29 Isaiah Salinda
defeated Shintaro Ban, 3-and-2. Salinda
will face 28th seeded Nicholas Rogers,
who defeated Cameron Shaw, 2-and-1.
Match play continues at 'The City' on
Saturday with matches starting at 7:20
a.m.
