Trent Peterson didn't leave much suspense at Baker National Golf Course, firing rounds of 67-69 to win the Minnesota State Public Links Championship by eight strokes at 8-under 136.
The 39-year-old from St. Paul claimed his third consecutive title at the event and his sixth overall, moving ever closer to a career milestone. With 48 victories on the Minnesota Golf Association calendar, Peterson now sits just two wins shy of 50 state titles.
