Peter Kim comfortably wins the Coral Canyon Amateur

The BYU sophomore shot rounds of 65-69 to get to 10-under and secure the wire-to-wire and four-shot victory

Peter Kim, a sophomore from BYU, shot rounds of 65-69 to get to 10-under and secure the wire-to-wire and four-shot victory at the 2025 Coral Canyon Amateur at Coral Canyon Golf Course in Washington, Ut.

Kim, who was a four-time state champion in high school, recorded 12 birdies and two bogeys en route to his 10-under overall finish.

In his opening round, Kim shot a bogey-free 7-under 65 to take a two-shot lead over Ben Wilson.

Wilson finished in solo second place at 6-under after rounds of 67-71. Drake Harvey finished in solo third place at 3-under.

Kade McDonough and Noah Moody finished T4 at 2-under to round out the top five.

In addition to winning four high school state team titles, Kim was a Four-time First Team All-State selection, the 2023 Provo Open Low Amateur, and the Karl Tucker Amateur Champion.
