Wil Pahud defeats Jim Lyon in playoff after both post 5-under-par 65's

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Aug. 5, 2012) --Wil Pahud birdied his way to a playoff at the Indianapolis Amateur at Pleasant Run Golf Course. Pahud was two over-par after carding bogeys at holes 3 and 4, but turned it around with barrage of seven birdies to finish his round at 5-under-par 65. Jim Lyon also had great round with 6 birdies and a lone bogey firing a 65. The two battled for the title in a playoff, Pahud was the victor. Brooks Snyder finished in third one stroke back at 66, while Broden Chapman and Brett Widner posted 67’s to finish tied for fourth.
