FIRST ROUND RECAP
The 5th Annual Ojai Senior Cup at Soule Golf Club is now underway.
Craig Steinberg is back to defend his title from 2022. 2020 champion and 2022 runner-up Dan Sullivan and 2019 champion Tim Hogarth are both in the 2023 field as well.
Super Senior Champions David Ujihara (2021) and Curtis Worley (2022) are also in the field, and Worley will join Steinberg on his quest to defend his championship.
The Ojai Senior Cup was established in 2019 with the vision of becoming one of the top Senior Amateur Championships on the West Coast. This has quickly become a reality as top senior amateurs across the country have gravitated toward this WAGR-ranked event.
The tournament is played over 54 holes and offers Senior (55+) and Super Senior (65+) divisions. The highlight of the event is the beautiful destination town of Ojai, California, and the popular Gil Hanse-designed golf course on which the competition takes place.
SOULE PARK GOLF COURSE
The Ojai Senior Cup features a classic Gil Hanse-designed course located in the quaint destination town of Ojai, California.
After a flood-induced renovation by Hanse in 2006, Soule Park has grown to become recognized as one of California's top public golf experiences.
