Moroccan Amateur Adam Bresnu records top six finish at PIF Saudi International

The impressive 20-year-old shot 17-under to finish T6 and just four shots back of winner Joaquin Niemann

20-year-old Moroccan amateur Adam Bresnu made the cut and finished T6 at the PIF Saudi International at Riyadh Golf Club.

Bresnu finished 17-under and four shots behind the winner, Joaquin Niemann, who finished 21-under. Bresnu carded rounds of 66-67-68-66 to get to 17-under.

Bresnu recently won the Pan Arab Championship title in the UAE and made the cut last week in a loaded field at the International Series Qatar.

“To be honest, I know my game, and I know what I am capable of, and I’m pretty sure I belong here," Bresnu told the Asian Tour after his second round. "I know my game: I can shoot really low and go low four rounds straight if I respect the course and my routine."

Niemann won the tournament at 21-under in a playoff over Cam Smith and former Tennessee standout Caleb Surratt. Surratt and Smith finished T2, Ben Campbell finished in solo fourth place at 20-under and Tyrrell Hatton finished in solo fifth place at 19-under.
