Matthew Lowe may call Bethpage State Park Golf Club home, but this week he proved his game travels just fine. The 30-year-old public-course standout captured the 2026 Ike Championship on Tuesday, holding off Dean Muratore of Colonial Springs Golf Club by one stroke at Sleepy Hollow Country Club to win one of the nation's oldest and most prestigious amateur stroke-play titles.

Lowe finished at 8-under-par 202 after rounds of 69, 65 and 68, navigating the demanding A.W. Tillinghast layout over a grueling 54-hole format that concluded with 36 holes on Tuesday.
