Shannon Johnson overcame a six-shot deficit to win her sixth Massachusetts Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship at Wollaston Golf Club, closing with a 1-over 73 for a two-shot victory.
Representing Thorny Lea Golf Club, Johnson finished at 8-over 152 (79-73), becoming the fourth player to win the Keyes Cup at least six times, joining Florence Ogg McClusky, Anne Marie Tobin and Tara Joy-Connelly.
