Maryland State Golf Association claims Senior Challenge Matches

WILMINGTON, DE (Oct. 5, 2011) -- The Golf Association of Philadelphia couldn’t retain the Senior Challenge Matches title. The Maryland State Golf Association claimed it Wednesday with a victory at Wilmington CC (South). Its team finished with a 460-total. Team GAP placed third with a score of 476. The Senior Challenge Matches feature eight seniors from four associations, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Philadelphia, competing in the stroke-play event. Team GAP won last year’s event at Bedens Brook.
