Marry wins Santa Rosa City by four

Former Sonoma State golfer Alex Marry of San Clemente, Calif. captured the Santa Rosa City Championship by four shots on Sunday

SANTA ROSA, Calif. (July 28, 2013) — Alex Marry of San Clemente, Calif. blew away the field on Sunday at the Santa Rosa City Championship, winning by four shots with a final-round 67. Marry, a former golfer at nearby Sonoma State University, was the only player to shoot two rounds in the 60s, going 68-67 over the weekend. Finishing in second place was Redwood City's Ben Peters, who shot 68-71.
