Marin requested medical attention on the 13th hole and ultimately, conceded the match on hole No. 15 to Talley

In the first semifinal of the U.S. Women's Amateur at Southern Hills Country Club, Maria Jose Marin unfortunately was forced to concede her match on hole No. 15 to Asterisk Talley, sending Talley to her third USGA final of the year.

According to Golfweek's Cameron Jourdan, the medalist and rising sophomore at Arkansas sat down on the 13th fairway and requested medical attention as she was 1-down in the match.

She went on to continue to play the next two holes but was in clear discomfort.

We will have a full recap of both semifinals posted later in the day as the second semifinal finishes.

Tomorrow is the twelve-year anniversary of Lydia Ko winning the U.S. Women's Amateur at age 15, and today, she won Gold at the Paris Olympics.
