The 52nd Dogwood Invitational, played at Druid Hills Golf Club in Atlanta, will be played from June 4-9, 2018, positioning it as the first major amateur event following the NCAA Championships.
The tournament had been played in late June, and though it had drawn strong fields it was during a more crowded time on the calendar. With no other major amateur tournaments to conflict with the new dates, tournament organizers expect an even better field at Druid Hills for 2018 and beyond.
“We’re excited about the move to the earlier date,” said Dogwood Invitational tournament director Edward Toledano. “We take a lot of pride in the quality of our field and the move to this earlier date may allow us to improve that even more. Our expectation is that the field will be pretty strong.”
