Jim Lehman (Minnetonka, Minn.) won the third tournament on the Senior Florida Swing, capturing the Kingsway Senior Invitational in Port Charlotte, Fla. by one shot.
Lehman was the model of consistency at Kingsway Country Club, shooting rounds of 71-72-72 and edging out the defending champion Pat Thompson (Asheville, N.C.) and Keith Decker (Martinsville, Va.).
Going into the final round, three players -- Lehman, Thompson and Allen Peake (Macon, Ga.) -- were tied for the lead, with Decker and Mike Arnold (Mooresville, N.C) one shot back.
Thompson closed with a 73 and Decker shot his third straight round of even-par 72 to share the runner-up spot.
Peake shot a 74 to finish alone in fourth.
Bob Kearney (Houston, Texas) finished tied for 5th, his third straight top-5 finish to start 2020. Also at 5th was Craig Hurlbert (Magnolia, Texas), who had won the first two senior events of the year, the Old Corkscrew and Gateway senior invitationals.
In the Super Senior division, Paul Schlachter (Bridgeville, Pa.) won by four shots over Kevin Macy (Oldsmar, Fla.) and John Fritz (Charlotte, N.C.).
John Cuomo (Richmond, Va.) won the Legends division by one shot over Michael Fedewa (Canton, Mich.).
