Paxton Lane closed out a dominant week at Burns Park Golf Course on Sunday, defeating Tyler Reynolds of Little Rock 3 & 1 in the final to win the Arkansas Men's Match Play Championship.
The Benton native and incoming University of Arkansas, Little Rock freshman never trailed in the championship match and built enough cushion to close it on the 17th hole. Lane's path through the bracket left little doubt — five wins, four by decisive margins, including a 6 & 5 rout of Henry O'Keefe in the Round of 32.
