REDMOND, Ore. (August 2, 2014) — Two rounds are complete at the Oregon Stroke Play Championship, being played at Juniper Golf Club in Redmond, Ore.
Oregon State University's Conner Kumpula shot consecutive rounds of 68 and will take a two-shot advantage into the final round.
The soon-to-be sophomore birdied four of his last six holes on Friday, then birdied consecutive holes (four and five) on his final nine holes on Saturday, making just two bogeys in those 36 holes.
Ray Richards is the man two shots behind Kumpula after he fired 68 on Saturday, as well, to stay at pace with the leader.
Rounding out the final pairing is Brent Grant — a native of Honolulu, Hawaii — whose Saturday 67 is the lowest round of the tournament thus far.
