FORT WORTH, TX (March 15, 2016)--Kristen Gillman won the Kathy Whitworth Invitational at Mira Vista Country Club in a playoff against Yujeong Son. The two golfers tied at 141 following the completion of the second round.
Gillman reached the playoff with scores of 70 and 71. While it was Son shooting 71, 70 to match Gillman.
Finishing in third place was Gurleen Kaur (144), while Kailie Vongsaga (145) finished in fourth place. Ivy Shepherd (146) and Maya Walton (146) finished in a tie for fifth. Walton has committed to Princeton to play golf next year.
