Camron Howell and Brian Kontak posted 11-under 61 to take home a 5-shot win at The Gallery Invitational over Bryan Hoops and Jeremy Defalco.
Kontak, a former professional who won five times on the Canadian Tour and took home that tour's Order of Merit title, found his old form on Saturday -- firing on all cylinders while his partner Camron Howell picked up the slack whenever needed.
Runners-up Hoops and Defalco followed their first round leading 66 with a solid 68, but it's tough to keep pace with an 11-under round in a 36-hole event.
In the Senior Division, new Gallery Golf Club member John Bearrie and partner Brad Wayment took home a one shot victory over Tom Beach and Erik Nielsen with a birdie on the final hole.
After Bearrie hit it to two feet for an almost sure thing, his partner stole the thunder by holing a 15-foot birdie putt of his own.
"I should have hit mine first," joked Bearrie, a 6-time USGA Mid-Am participant who got to Tucson vis his home state of Texas, then South Carolina.
Doug Potter and Murph Mitchell won the Super Senior Division at 8-under 136 after tying with John Hornbeck and Robin Bradbury in regulation.
