Steve Rogers takes title with 5&4 trouncing of Rick Cain

(June 25, 2014) -- Steve Rogers of Bowling Green, Ky., defeated Rick Cain of Louisville 5&4 on Thursday in the championship match of the Kentucky Senior Match Play Championship. The top-seeded Rogers made three birdies and no bogeys on his way to the 5&4 victory, not allowing second-seeded Cain to win a single hole in the match. The whole week was business as usual for the defending champion Rogers, as he dispatched his opponents 6&5, 3&2, and 7&5 on his way to the finals. Results can be viewed below.
