Former San Diego State golfer Josh Warthen posts a 9-under total to edge SF City Champion Daniel Connolly

PASO ROBLES, Calif. (June 5, 2016) -- Former professional and San Diego State golfer Josh Warthen took the Paso Robles City this weekend at Hunter Ranch Golf Course. Warthen, a runner-up on Golf Channel's Big Break series, got his amateur status back after taking a stab at professional golf. Amateur or pro, Warthen has game. He posted a 9-under 135 for the event, three shots better than San Francisco City Champion Daniel Connolly. Blake McPherson took solo third at 139 total while USC golfer Ryan Slater finished 4th at 140. The senior division was captured by Greg Aitkens who posted a 152 (8-over) for the event.
