Long fired a final-round 65 at Gustin Golf Course to prevail by six shots at the 2013 Phil Cotton Memorial

COLUMBIA, Mo. (June 2, 2013) -- Missouri senior Jace Long fired a final-round 65 at Gustin Golf Course to prevail by six shots at the 2013 Phil Cotton Memorial. The highly-ranked Long opened play with a 69 and was among the early leaders but his Sunday 65 put it out of reach. Taylor Cox (69-71--140) was alone in second while Scott Hovis (73-70--143) and Wayne Fredrick (72-71--143) tied for third. In the Senior Division, Jeff Johnson was a one-shot winner over Steve Groom despite a final-round 68 from Groom.
