Joey Iaciofano of Jupiter, Fla., continued his impressive summer by defeating Michael Hamilton in a two-hole playoff to win the Rhode Island Stroke Play Championship at Alpine Country Club.
Iaciofano, representing Ledgemont Country Club, posted rounds of 72-69-66 to finish at 9-under 207. Hamilton, of Kirkbrae Country Club, matched that total with rounds of 70-69-68, sending the championship to extra holes.
