Garon wins Baton Rouge Open by one

Former University of Louisiana at Lafayette golfer Brandt Garon wins the Baton Rouge Open Championship by one stroke.

BATON ROUGE, La. (June 23, 2013) — Brandt Garon, a former University of Louisiana at Lafayette golfer, was victorious on Sunday at Santa Maria Golf Course. Garon shot a final-round 70 to win the Baton Rouge Open Championship by one stroke over Blaine Patin. Patin fired the low round on Sunday, a 69, but came up just shot short.
