Men’s Championship: Notre Dame and Alabama Set the Tone
Notre Dame has pushed to the top of the team leaderboard at 1-under overall, with defending champion Alabama at even par. Grand Valley State and Florida A&M are tied at +8, while Kansas sits at +9.
Individually, William Jennings (Alabama) and Calen Sanderson (Notre Dame) share the lead at −2 midway through Round 2. Trent Mierl (Missouri) surged with a run of birdies to reach −1, where he’s joined by Jack Mitchell (Alabama) and Rocco Salvitti (Notre Dame). Anastasia Hekkonen (Kentucky) opened with a sparkling 66 (−6) to take command and will begin her second round this afternoon. Amelia Wan (Baylor) and Brynn Kort (Texas A&M) are tied for second at −1, while Megan Streicher (North Carolina) holds solo fourth at even par.
