Final-round 68 gives Hackett one-shot win at Mountain View City

After shooting 79 on Saturday, Edward Hackett comes back with a 68 on Sunday to win by a stroke

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (Sept. 21, 2014) — Edward Hackett wasn't in the best shape to compete for the Mountain View City Championship after his first-round 79 at Shoreline Links. He trailed the leader, Joey Russo, by eight shots. But with his final-round 68, Hackett made an incredible comeback to win the event by one. Russo shot 78 to finish two behind Hackett in a tie for third place with Matt Cohn. Grady Smith finished in second place, shooting 76-72 over the weekend. Defending champion John Greco shot 78-75 and finished in 11th. In the Senior division, Gene Van Puymbroeck took home the title by three shots, shooting 71-68.
