Springfield, Ill. (June 7, 2015) -- Play concluded this afternoon at the Central Illinois Amateur played at the Lincoln Greens Golf Course in Springfield, Ill. Ethan Brue, from Chandlerville, Ill. held on to win in windy final round conditions with an even par 72 following a strong opening round 66. The 36-hole total of 138 led to a 2-shot victory over a trio of chasers at 140 including Springfield’s own Jake Erickson.
Dale Blankenship lead all seniors with a 36-hole total of 146 including a final round 72. Lexi Emerson held on to win the women's divison with a 36-hole total of 152 helped by strong opening round 74.
