Patricia Ehrhart not only claimed low amateur honors at the U.S. Senior Women's Open which wrapped on Sunday at NCR Country Club in Kettering, Ohio, but the Birmingham, Ala. resident also recorded a top-20 finish, tying for 15th at 9-over 301 (74-75-75-77).
Ehrhart was one of six amateurs to make the cut at the NCR Club, along past U.S. Senior Women's Amateur champions Judith Kyrinis (t-25; +16), Lara Tennant (28th; +17), Ellen Port (t-29th; +18) and Shelly Stouffer (t-29; +18) along with Lisa McGill (50th; +32).

Ehrhart has three daughters who are avid surfers and were on the Margaritaville Surf Team, which singer Jimmy Buffet captains. As low amateur, Ehrhart is exempt into next year’s U.S. Senior Women’s Open at Waverley Country Club in Portland, Ore.
Jill McGill won the U.S. Senior Women's Open with a 3-under score of 289, one stroke better than runner-up Leta Lindley.
