EL PASO, Texas (Aug. 15, 2013) -- Amateurgolf.com Player Staff member Cyrus Whitney fired a 7-under 64 in the first round and leads by an impressive six shots at the 2013 New Mexico-West Texas Senior Amateur.
Whitney, who won an amazing five times earlier this year, including the Gallery Invitational Senior and the amateurgolf.com San Diego County Senior Amateur, leads Michael Quinlan and Tom DeCoster by six shots at El Paso Country Club.
Second and final-round action begins Friday morning.
