Zach Gomez
Zach Gomez completed a successful title defense at the Colorado Mid-Amateur Match Play Championship, defeating Joel Perez 5 and 4 in Wednesday's final at TPC Colorado to claim the last Colorado Golf Association championship of the 2026 season.
The 27-year-old from Westminster has now won the championship in both of his appearances, having captured his first title at Cherry Hills Country Club in 2025. He also becomes the first repeat winner since the event returned to the CGA schedule in 2024.
