GARDNERVILLE, NV (April 15, 2016) -- Gregory Whitt shot a 1-under-par 71 to take honors at the 2016 Carson Valley Senior at Carson Valley Golf Course. Whitt shot an even-par 36 on the front nine before shooting 1-under 35 on the back.
Whitt carded an eagle and five birdies on the day. He also tallied four bogeys and a double-bogey. However, the difference maker proved to be his eagle came on the 446 yard par-5 10th hole.
Finishing one-stoke behind in second place was Kirk Schwoyer (E). Troy Scott (+1) was third.
The flight winners at the Carson Valley Senior were Bill Fraser and Melvin Ness.
