HYANNISPORT, Mass. (April 12, 2014) -- Brian Secia and Herbie Aikens knocked off top-seeded John Curley and Chris Tufts to highlight second-round action at the 2014 Cape Cod Seagulls Four-Ball at Hyannisport Golf Club.
The 8-seeds, Aikens and Secia won 5-and-3 and will face No. 4 Dan Hanson and Bill VanStratum in Sunday's semifinals.
The winners will go on to the afternoon championship finale against the winners of the other semifinal match -- Trevor Wellen and Chad Crocker and Ray Richard and Jon Fasick.
Wellen and Crocker continued their hot play Saturday, defeating Pat Dalton and Stephen Molis 6-and-5. Richard and Fasick advanced with a 5-and-3 victory over Ron Knight and Peter Mondani.
