Bromley finishes Northern California Open as low amateur

Former San Jose State golfer Taylor Bromley finished tied for seventh at the Northern Cailfornia Open

SEASIDE, CA (September 14, 2016) -- Former San Jose State Spartan Taylor Bromley finished tied for seventh and as the low amateur at the Northern California Open. Bromley finished 2-under after rounds of 71-71-72 at Bayonet Golf Course. In the final round Bromley posted an even-par 72 with three birdies and three bogeys. The birdies came on the 3rd, 10th and 18th holes. Professional Gregor Main won the Northern California Open with a 54-hole tally of 7-under. 36-HOLE RECAP Taylor Bromley leads all amateurs thus far at the Northern California Open played at Bayonet Golf Course. Bromley shot back-to-back 1-under 71's to put him a tie for 6th place, four shots back of leader Gregor Main. Bromley was one of eight amateurs to make the cut in this field of mostly professionals including Sacramento's Kyle Davies who sits in a tie for 17th after rounds of 74 and 71.
