After the historic association's individual championship was cancelled due to Covid-19 in the spring, spirits were high as San Diego weather didn't disappoint.
San Diego Country Club is known for having some of the fastest and most challenging greens in the area, and in the first round the field was confounded by several extreme pin placements. That didn't stop John Hoffman of San Diego and Tom McKee of Carlsbad from going 4-under, taking a four shot lead into the final round among championship flight contestants.

But it was Bill Brewer and Don Kobashigawa of Lakeside Country Club in Burbank who took home the overall gross championship, firing 6-under 138 in the President's flight. Bob Bowne and Has Mohaghegh won the overall net with a score of 132.
