PARKER, Colo. — A day after making seven birdies at the 44th Colorado Senior Stroke Play, Robin Bradbury went birdie-less Wednesday at Colorado Golf Club. But that didn't keep the golfer from Heritage at Westmoor from retaining the lead with one round remaining.
Bradbury, a semifinalist in the 2015 Colorado Senior Match Play, shot a 4-over-par 76 on Wednesday to leave him at 1-over 145 for two rounds.
In fact, the top three players after round 1 are the top three after round 2 -- in the same order.
Former CGA president Bill Fowler of the Club at Rolling Hills trails by one after carding a 75 on Wednesday. Fowler made three birdies in round 2.
Defending champion and Colorado Golf Hall of Famer Kent Moore of Cherry Hills Country Club shares third place at 151 after a second-round 77. Also tied for third is Tim Kneen, who shot the day's third-best round -- a 74 -- while competing at his home course.
The championship will conclude on Thursday, when the leaders will tee off at about 10 a.m.
