Bracket set for the Tennessee Match Play Championships

Hunter Richardson takes top seed as fellow UT Martin golfer Brendon Cabellero tries to repeat as champion

The Grove has provided a beautiful setting for the 2015 Tennessee Match Play Championships. 2014 Champion Brendon Caballero of Brentwood has put himself in solid position alongside fellow UT Martin golfer Hunter Richardson of Clarksville. Richardson put together two very impressive rounds with a first round 66 and second round 68 to claim the number one seed at 10 –under par 134. Caballero is looking to become the first ever repeat champion of the Tennessee Match Play Championship. He earned the fifth seed with his rounds of 71-76-147. 2014 Senior Match Play Runner Up and 2014 Tennessee Amateur and Senior Amateur Player of the Year Tim Jackson of Germantown has claimed the top seed in the Senior Match Play Championship after his rounds of 69 and 71 for a 4-under par 140 total. He will play Gary Siddons of Knoxville who survived a 3 for 1 playoff to grab the 16 seed. 2014 Champion Tony Green of Kingsport has claimed the 8 seed and will play Tom Baird of Chattanooga in the Round of 16.Round of 16 Matches will begin Friday morning followed by quarterfinal matches in the afternoon.
