JACKSONVILLE, FL (April 5, 2017) -- Bill Hardaker combined rounds of 66-74 to post 145 and win the Jacksonville Senior Amateur by a convincing five shots.
Teeing it up at Deercreek Country Club Hardaker set a pace that could not be matched with his first round 66 and he carried a seven-stroke lead in to day two.
Mike Bodney (73-72--145) finished second, defending champion John Lobb (73-74--147) placed third, Rocky Fraleigh (73-75--145) was fourth and Paul Demyanovich (76-73--149) was fifth.
In the Super Senior Division Reid Sheftall (71-70--141) pulled away on Wednesday to capture a nine shot triumph and in the Grand Senior Division Fred Cramton (75-75--150) bested George Halvorsen (75-75--150) in a playoff.
