Tim Bickford and James Sheltman came within one shot of breaking 60 and walked away as champions of the 86th Connecticut Four-Ball Championship at Wallingford Country Club.
Bickford, representing Timberlin Golf Club, and Sheltman, a Wallingford member, combined for nine birdies and an eagle in an 11-under 60 to win the 18-hole championship by one stroke.
