Moss, a junior, clinched his inaugural career victory, marking the first win for a University of Louisville player since Max Kennedy at the All-American last season. Moss's final round was the lowest round of the season for a Louisville player, securing him the tournament title.
Moss entered the final round trailing McNeely, the overnight leader with rounds of 65-68, by a margin of three strokes. In the final round, Moss maintained a flawless round, remaining bogey-free until the very end. His performance was further highlighted by a great finish, as he birdied the final three holes, ultimately securing victory with a commanding four-stroke lead.
In the team competition, Chattanooga, comprising Paul Conroy and Samuel Espinosa-Trueba, who secured third and fourth positions in the tournament, along with John Houk, Braedon Wear, and Garrett Engle, finished with an impressive eight-stroke lead. Chattanooga finished 14-under to get the win. In contrast, Louisville finished 6-under to earn the runner-up position in the tournament.
