Austin Hitt wins Orlando City Amateur by one

The high school junior from Longwood, Fla. fought back from a first-round 74 to win the Orlando City Amateur by one shot

ORLANDO, Fla. (Nov. 17, 2014) — Austin Hitt, a junior in high school from Longwood, Fla., trailed first-round leader Max De Craecker by five shots on Friday. But Hitt fought back with rounds of 70 and 69 to close the event and win the Orlando City Amateur by one shot. De Craecker, who hails from France, finished the tournament 72-77 and tied for fifth place, five shots back. Edward Richardson shot 72-70-72 and finished in solo second place while Derek Camps and Jim Kelly tied for third at 217.
