The Ole Miss Women’s Golf Team, currently ranked No. 4 nationally, concluded the Augusta Women’s Invitational at Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga., with an impressive 8-under 856. The Rebels won by a three-shot margin over the field, with rounds of 276-283-297.

South Carolina and Michigan shot matching total scores of 5-under par to register joint runner-up finishes at the tournament. South Carolina carded rounds of 283-283-293, and Michigan carded rounds of 287-283-289 in the tournament.
In the individual competition, Mirabel Ting, a sophomore at Florida State, secured the title with rounds of 68-74-67, achieving a total score of 7-under 209. Ting, initially trailing Georgia University junior LoraLie Cowart by six strokes entering the final round, fired a remarkable 67 in the last round—matching her career-best single-round score. This victory marks her second collegiate title, following her previous triumph at the Moon Invitational at Suntree Country Club in Fla. in 2023.
Ting dominated the event, recording a total of 16 birdies over 54 holes played. Additionally, she finished second in the field with an average score of 2.75 over the two-day competition.
Hannah Darling of South Carolina, ranked No.12 on the AmateurGolf.com/Golf Women's Rankings and a recent winner at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, carded rounds of 70-67-74, resulting in a tie with Loralie Cowart of Georgia, who carded rounds of 69-67-75 and Ole Miss Junior Natacha Husted shot 66-69-76. Together, they shared the joint runner-up finish at the tournament.
Ole Miss had a strong presence in the top-10, with Natacha securing a T2 finish. She was closely followed by junior Caitlyn McNab, who carded rounds of 71-71-70 for a solo-fifth place finish at 4-under par. Freshman Sophie Linder posted rounds of 66-72-75, earning a T6 finish at 3-under par.
On the stats front, Ole Miss tallied a tournament-high 55 birdies, surpassing any other team in Augusta by 10. Additionally, the team led the field in par-5 scoring, shooting a remarkable 19-under across two days.
