Regional Qualifying for The 154th Open Championship produced a strong showing from amateur golfers across the United Kingdom and Ireland, with several notable names advancing to Final Qualifying on June 30. The most impressive amateur performance came at Moor Park, where Irish amateur Connor O'Brien fired a five-under 67 to earn medalist honors and lead all qualifiers at the venue. At Bearwood Lakes, Wentworth amateurs Henry Daly and Reggie Fear shared top honors on four-under alongside Timothy Shin, while at Chart Hills, Knole Park amateur Max Moseley survived a playoff to secure one of the final qualifying spots.
Several highly regarded amateur and collegiate players also moved a step closer to Royal Birkdale. Former Ole Miss standout Angus Flanagan advanced from North Hants, while Norwegian amateur Markus Braadlie qualified at Moor Park. At Minchinhampton, Germany's Tiger Christensen, who has enjoyed a strong amateur career in the United States, emerged from a playoff along with Nikolas Tyminski, Adam Curtis, and Jack Cope. Fellow amateur Owen Edwards also progressed there after finishing among the automatic qualifiers.
