AGC alum Bob Niger wins AZ Senior Open

The former amateurgolf.com member and California resident shoots final round 66 to win by one stroke

APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. (June 7, 2012) -- Former amateurgolf.com member, Bob Niger of El Dorado Hills, CA won the 2012 Arizona Senior Open played at the Prospector Course at Superstition Mountain as a professional. Niger finished the three day tournament with a final round 66 posting a perfect round with six birdies and a tournament total of 206 (69-71-66.) One stroke back, finishing up tied for second was Mark Franko of Scottsdale, AZ 207 (67-70-70) and Paul Nolen of Morana, AZ 207 (67-69-71.) The low amateur was Brady Exber of Las Vegas who overcame a first round 76 to fire 67 and 68 in his final rounds to take tenth place.
