Adam Webb and Blake Carter go low to win the Mid Pines Invitational

Webb and Carter got off to a hot start with an 8-under 63 first-round and secured a two-shot win in North Carolina

Adam Webb and Blake Carter went wire-to-wire to win the Open Division of the 2025 Mid Pines Invitational at Mid Pines Inn & Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C.

Webb and Carter carded rounds of 63-64 to get to an impressive 15-under and win by two shots over Brandon Grzywacz and Logan Harrell. Grzywacz and Harrell shot rounds of 64-65 to get to 13-under.

The golfers played Southern Pines in the first round and Pine Needles in the second round.

Davey Jude/Cam Roam and Chris Eassy/Duane Barnes finished T3 at 10-under, while Garland Ferrell and Weston Bell finished in solo fifth place at 7-under to round out the top five. 

In the Senior Division, Patrick Carter and Jamie Whitt finished 13-under to win by two shots. The duo carded rounds of 64-65 to secure the win. Hunter Grove and Brian Gauley finished in solo second place at 11-under with rounds of 64-67. 

The Mid Pines Invitational has had some great recent finishes, with Chadd Slutzky and John Ramsey winning in 2020, 2022, and 2024 and finishing runner-up in 2019 and 2023. In 2023, Slutsky and Ramsey lost to Christian Brand and Sam O'Dell in an incredible eleven-hole playoff.
