Quick Answer · How to Watch
The 2026 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championship runs May 22–27, followed by the men's championship May 29–June 3, both at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.
Live TV coverage airs exclusively on Golf Channel, with streaming on Peacock, Fubo, DirecTV Stream, and Hulu + Live TV. Coverage begins with the final round of stroke play and continues through every match play round.
The NCAA golf championships are unlike anything else on the college sports calendar — six days of stroke play and match play that decide the year's national champions and crown the next wave of professional stars. Here's everything you need to know to follow every shot.
Golf Channel is the exclusive television home of the NCAA Division I Golf Championships. The network has held the rights since 2014 for the men's championship and 2015 for the women's, and that exclusive arrangement continues for the 2026 season. Coverage is presented by Stifel and AT&T.
Golf Channel Live TV
Live broadcasts of the final round of stroke play (Monday) and all three match play rounds (Tuesday and Wednesday) for both championships. Approximately 60 hours of total coverage across the two weeks.

DirecTV Stream

The Women's Championship runs Friday, May 22 through Wednesday, May 27. Live TV coverage begins on the final round of stroke play and continues through the championship match. Note: all times Eastern; Golf Channel typically confirms exact air windows in the week leading up to the event.
The Men's Championship begins Friday, May 29 and concludes with the championship match on Wednesday, June 3. The same broadcast pattern applies — recap shows during the first three days of stroke play, then live coverage from the final stroke play round through the title match.
Before the championships begin, both selection shows air live on Golf Channel and reveal which 30 teams and six individual qualifiers earned bids to Carlsbad:

Live TV coverage begins on Monday — the final round of stroke play, when the individual national champion is decided. The first three days of stroke play (Friday through Sunday) typically receive recap-only coverage on Golf Central, with live scoring available on NCAA.com.
Both championships are at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California — the third consecutive year the property has hosted both events. La Costa is currently contracted to host the championships through 2028.
Each championship runs six days. Days 1 through 4 are stroke play (72 holes total), with a 15-team cut after the third round. The top eight teams after stroke play advance to match play, which is contested over the final two days.
Each match features five players from one team versus five players from another, playing 18-hole head-to-head matches. The first team to win three of the five points advances. Three rounds of match play — quarterfinals, semifinals, and the championship match — decide the team national champion.
Regionals do not receive live TV coverage. Live scoring is available at NCAA.com for all six men's regional sites (May 18–20) and six women's regional sites (May 11–13). Recap coverage typically airs on Golf Central.
Oklahoma State won the 2025 men's team championship 4–1 over Virginia. Northwestern won the 2025 women's team championship 3–2 over Stanford. Michael La Sasso of Ole Miss won the men's individual title; Maria José Marin of Arkansas won the women's individual title.
