Willie Gordon of Hot Springs, Ark., delivered a poised final-round 66 to capture the 2025 Wyndham Invitational presented by Odyssey, finishing at 10-under-par 200 for his first career AJGA invitational title, and his third AJGA victory. The University of Arkansas commit followed up a tournament-low 64 in Round 2 with another clinical performance on Thursday, notching six birdies to edge out Jessy Huebner by a shot.
Gordon began the final day one stroke behind overnight leader Blake Brown, but wasted no time charging up the leaderboard with four front-nine birdies. As others faltered or ran out of holes, Gordon remained steady, playing his final 11 holes in 2-under without a blemish to close out the win.
Huebner, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., matched Gordon’s 66 on the day, turning in his third straight under-par round, the only player in the field to accomplish the feat. Ranked No. 13 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings, Huebner’s consistency was unmatched this week. He finished at 9-under-par 201 with a bogey-free final round and just three bogeys total over 54 holes.
University of North Florida commit Luke Balaskiewicz made a strong push of his own, finishing solo third at 7-under 203. After opening with an even-par 70, he closed with 67-66, highlighted by a three-birdie, one-eagle, and just one bogey effort in the final round to secure his best AJGA invitational result.
One of the biggest movers on the day was Drake Harvey of Las Vegas, Nev., who carded a field-best 64 in the final round. Harvey made nine birdies, including five over his final seven holes, to vault into solo fourth at 6-under.
Blake Brown, the 36-hole leader, struggled to maintain his pace. After rounds of 65 and 68, the Cypress, Texas native slipped to a 2-over 72 in the final round, carding five bogeys and settling for fifth at 5-under 205.
Defending champion and pre-tournament favorite Asher Vargas finished T26 at 3-over 213 after rounds of 71-70-72.
