Qualifying will take place from April 14 to May 13 over 23 sites and 16 states, along with three other countries
Local qualifying for the 2025 U.S. Women's Open at Erin Hills, Erin, Wis., is taking place from April 15 to May 13, 2025. There are 23 qualifying sites in 16 states and three international sites in Japan, Canada, and Italy.
This will be the 18th USGA championship and the third U.S. Women’s Open contested in Wisconsin. Erin Hills has previously hosted four USGA championships, including the 2017 U.S. Open, won by Brooks Koepka. It will become the 16th club to have held both the U.S. Women’s Open and the U.S. Open.
Just a month shy of her 23rd birthday, Yuka Saso became the first player in history to win the U.S. Women's Open Presented by Ally, representing two different countries with her triumph at Lancaster (Pa.) Country Club.
In 2021, she won under the Philippines flag, her mother's country. This time, she won, representing Japan, her father's country. Saso carded a final-round, 2-under-par 68 to edge countrywoman Hinako Shibuno by three strokes.
