Talley was one of the top golfers of 2024 and now has her third AJGA victory to add to her fast growing resume

Asterisk Talley of Chowchilla, California, triumphed at the 17th Hilton Grand Vacations ANNIKA Invitational presented by Rolex with a remarkable 9-under-par 204. This victory marks her fifth AJGA win and solidifies her status as the No. 1 ranked player in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.

Talley entered the final round with a two-stroke lead over defending champion Natalie Yen of West Linn, Oregon. She began her round with seven consecutive pars before carding her first birdie on the par-5 No. 8. Further birdies on the par-4 No. 10 and the par-5 No. 16 extended her lead, culminating in a bogey-free final round.

Her victory was celebrated on the 18th green by tournament host Annika Sorenstam.

"I learned from Annika that golf doesn't define us as people," Talley said. "We can go home after a tournament and learn from my game each week. If I played well, I can learn about what I did to make myself play well."

With her third AJGA Invitational title, Talley earns exemptions to two prestigious professional events: the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions at Lake Nona Golf and Country Club, where she will make her LPGA debut next weekend, and the 2025 Epson Tour Otter Creek Championship this summer.

Clairey Lin of Palos Verdes Estates, Calif., shot 4-under to finish in solo second place and five shots back of Talley. Gahui Kim of South Korea finished 1-under and in solo third place. Amber Lee of Alta Loma, Calif., and Natalie Yen of West Linn, Ore., finished T4 at even par and round out the top five.

The Hilton Grand Vacations ANNIKA Invitational, presented by Rolex, celebrated its 16th anniversary this weekend. The 54-hole stroke play event brought together the top-72 female junior golfers worldwide to compete at Heathrow Country Club.

The event hosted by the ANNIKA Foundation and AJGA included a Fireside Chat with ANNIKA Ambassadors Kajsa Arwefjall and Caley McGinty, and a Q&A session with Annika Sorenstam.
