For the first time, the matches will include teams consisting of both men and women Mid-Ams and Seniors
The bi-annual Concession Cup Matches are back and will take place from November 6-9 at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club in Savannah, Ga. It is the fifth playing of this Ryder Cup-style event between the top Mid-Am and Senior amateur players in the USA and Europe.
This year is the inaugural edition of a women’s side to the matches. Conducted by the Amateur Golf Alliance, the matches promote the amateur game worldwide to the Mid-Am and Senior players.
United States Captains Carol-Semple Thompson and Danny Yates will lead a squad of experienced players against a loaded team from Europe led by Tore Sviland, the 2022 Men’s Captain, and Elaine Ratcliffe will lead the women’s side.
