The AmateurGolf.com Tour is back after two months off with the AmateurGolf.com 2024 Two Man Links and Father & Son at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Bandon, Ore.
Established in 2001, the AmateurGolf.com Tour, presented by Callaway, hosts competitive amateur golf events at amazing courses across the country. Past winners of AGC tour events include PGA Tour players, top-ranked collegiate players, and nationally ranked senior and mid-am players.
AmateurGolf.com events offer divisions for male, female, senior, mid-am, and net players.
COURSE
At Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, you'll find four distinctly different courses built on a beautiful stretch of sand dunes perched 100 feet above the Pacific Ocean. Bandon Dunes and Pacific Dunes feature a dozen holes that run along the bluff overlooking 23 miles of sweeping, undisturbed shoreline. Bandon Trails starts on the coast and moves inland to discover the rugged Oregon forest.
Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes, and Bandon Trails — weren't built as much as discovered by their award-winning architects. One of those architects, Tom Doak, returned to collaborate with Jim Urbina and Bandon Dunes' latest course, Old Macdonald, a tribute to the great architect CB Macdonald. A spectacular par-3 course designed by Bill Coore called The Bandon Preserve will open in June of 2012.
HISTORY
In 2002, AmateurGolf.com visited Bandon Dunes for the first time with 24 players. We have come back every year with average fields of 80 players (and, most recent years, selling out early due to the addition of a very popular Father/Son division).
The host courses, Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes, Bandon Trails, Old Macdonald, and the Sheep Ranch, have firmly rooted themselves as some of the top courses in the world; however, they are running out of wall space in the Lodge to display the course and destination awards that keep accumulating.
LAST YEAR
Jacob Phillips and Mark Phillips won the Championship Division in 2022 and 2023, and the George and Michael Stevens Father and Son Division, Randall Conn and Johan Andersson won the 2023 Senior Division, and Andrew Silva and Jerry Silva won the Net Division. AmateurGolf.com founder Pete Wlodkowski won the championship division in 2002 and 2014.
