Green starts his 2024 with a big win
Gunnar Green of Central Alabama CC and Delaney Martin of Abilene Christian University clinched individual titles for men and women at the Florida Winter Amateur played out at Royal St. Cloud Golf Club in FL.
Green secured the title by shooting a total score of 7-under 209, with rounds of 68-69-72, winning by a two-shot margin over Jackson Hiller of Oglethorpe University who finished at 5-under par. Hiller carded rounds of 70-69-72, earning a runner-up finish in the tournament.
CTX championships are three-day, 54-hole stroke play events with no cut. Open to Male and Female college golfers who are currently on an active roster, and to junior golfers who have completed their sophomore year and meet the entry criteria. World A...
