USGA announces tee times for 41st U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship

The 41st U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship begins Saturday at Erin Hills and Blue Mound Golf & Country Club

The United States Golf Association has announced tee times for the first two rounds of the 41st U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship, Saturday (Sept. 10) and Sunday (Sept. 11), at 7,358-yard, par-71 Erin Hills, in Erin, Wis., and at 6,726-yard, par-70 Blue Mound Golf & Country Club, in Wauwatosa, Wis.

The U.S. Mid-Amateur consists of 36 holes of stroke play on Sept. 10 and 11, after which the 264-player field will be reduced to the low 64 scorers. There will be six rounds of match play, starting Sept. 12. The quarterfinals and semifinals are slated for Wednesday, Sept. 14. The championship is scheduled to conclude with a 36-hole final on Thursday, Sept. 15, starting at 7 a.m. CDT. The U.S. Mid-Amateur champion receives a full exemption into the 2023 U.S. Open Championship.
